The team at Northgate have been busy lately as we are fully into lighting season, but never too busy to raise funds for our Charity of the Year, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF).
This season, we have really upped our fundraising with various activities.
Bonfire Night
Some of the team kindly put together a brilliant Bonfire and Fireworks Display to raise money for CHSF. Team members and their families came together for a great party, which included food, drinks, sparklers and a DJ!
The resourceful team made the bonfire from pallets at Northgate and put on one of the best fireworks displays we’ve seen!
Food included hotdogs and homemade chilli, and there was a bar with a variety of options for all the family.
A fantastic evening was had by all, and we raised £846.84!
Bake Sale
Last week, we held a charity bake sale in the Northgate office, with a great selection of homemade cakes brought in by the team. From lemon drizzle, to Kinder Bueno cheesecake, Christmas cake and more, we had a very happy team for our Foodie Friday!
Raising £80 from the bake sale was a fantastic contribution by the team!
What’s next?
In upcoming weeks, Northgate Lighting will be beginning festivities with Christmas Jumper Day in order to raise more funds, as well as buying raffle tickets provided by CHSF, with prizes including a European City Break, UK Family Break, £100 of vouchers and more!
